Famous jazz club in Tokyo. Cover charge for music incl. 1 drink. Caters for about 40-50 persons sitting/standing. Good lineup of Japanese jazz musicians. I was very disappointed that photo/video is not allowed, as this was objective of my visit. I
One of the greatest live jazz experiences of my life in this wonderful atmospheric basement venue. Perfect escape from the chaos of the wider area around it. Would love to visit again.
Live Jazz , very qualified musicians playing. Required to reserve the seat. They call you according to the order of the reservation.
A jazz club where to go to properly listen to great music. They host multi-day residencies which allow musicians to present more ambitious and experimental projects, which is rare. The quality of the music on my visit was excellent, and the band had the right mix of professionalism, creativity, and humour that made for a sparkling night.
Definitely for the serious, straight ahead jazz-o-phile we spent an afternoon at a jam sesh held regularly at this clean, well maintained basement establishment with top notch sound, lighting and devoted and knowledgeable attendees. Will be back for other events.
