Basement area that can house 60-80 standing paxs. 3 rock bands guested on our visit, all worthwhile shows! We booked ticket online and paid for 600 yen for a drink. Theres Meet and Greet of the bands and sale of their merchandise. Great show!

Shelter is awesome! I came to Shelter because of Bocchi the Rock, but I am also a big fan of Japanese rock music. I ordered tickets online, which didn’t require a Japanese address or phone number (very common for venues in Japan to require that). The music was awesome, the atmosphere was amazing, everything was super fun and enjoyable. And I became a fan of a new band I had never heard of before (Lumirice)!

Exact replica of what you would find in Bocchi the Rock. Felt like I living in that anime for a bit. Best feeling ever. Venue is like the show and was fun to watch a concert play while visiting this part of Tokyo. Definitely felt so surreal.

Visited this venue on my Japan trip a few months ago. Many fans know about this venue from the anime Bocchi the Rock. But even without the nostalgia, it is a great place to come see some music. The cover charge and drink prices are inexpensive and we got to see multiple idol groups in one night. The atmosphere was small enough that you didn’t feel lost in the crowd and the meet-and-greets afterwards were very personal. It was definitely worth the train ride out of central Tokyo.

Yes, this is the bocchi livehouse “Starry” and tickets are required in advance for every concert. Just visit their website and you will receive it in the form of a QR code. Everyone must buy one drink, but the bands performing are really talented and they have everything from rock to heavy metal; it’s smaller than it looks
