If you’re looking to try something a little different from your usual ramen, this place is worth a visit. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, which already sets a good tone from the moment you walk in. The presentation of the food is also impressive everything looks thoughtfully prepared and very appetizing. That said, the flavor might not be for everyone. The broth leans more on the sour and tangy side rather than the rich, savory depth you’d expect from traditional ramen. It’s definitely a unique twist, but if you’re someone who prefers classic flavors, this might catch you off guard. Also, a heads up cilantro is quite prominent here. If you’re not a fan of it, this bowl might not be for you. Overall, a great experience in terms of service and presentation, but the taste really depends on your preference for bold, non-traditional flavors.
I had the tsukemen and I enjoyed the noodles the most as I love ultra firm noodles. Feels like a concept ramen store that appeals to the Gen Z. It was playing Vietnamese, Justin bieber songs etc. Very popular with tourists as its flavour and offerings are more suited for them(both gaijin and Asians) in my opinion. The team in this outlet are charming and good looking, again in my opinion.
Absolutely excellent! The ramen here is incredible. The original yuzu ramen is elegant… you can clearly taste its refined notes and balance … but the Yuzu Ratan is the true star!!!!. It’s the perfect harmony of spice, citrus, and depth, a spectacular fusion that stands out in its genre. This hybrid ramen is pure madness in the best possible way. I loved every bite!
This was my first time trying Afuri's famous Yuzu Ramen, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth was bright, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing—truly excellent. What stood out beyond the flavor was the kitchen's commitment to quality: I noticed the chefs sampling the ramen (broth, perhaps noodles or seasoning) just before it was served, ensuring peak flavor and consistency in every single order. High marks for both taste and attention to detail!
Modern ramen it is. Customisable and I elected thick noodle. Quite a few choices of soup base and I got myself a yuzu shio. Overall great experience. Not only the ramen is modern, the design and price machine too are modern classic
